    Job Description

    Job Summary: 

    The Immunization Supply Chain Officer (EVM Coordinator) will lead efforts to enhance vaccine management and supply chain operations. Responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders for effective implementation of vaccine management improvement plans, conducting regular meetings, ensuring vaccine availability and quality, and supporting capacity building. The role also involves coordinating with government entities, vendors, and UNICEF for equipment deployment and supporting immunization activities. Candidates should hold an advanced degree in Supply Chain or related fields, have at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong analytical & problem-solving skills, and proficiency in MS Office. Fluency in English is required, with knowledge of local languages considered advantageous. Travel to merged districts and Southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is required.

    Job Description: 

    The Immunization Supply Chain Officer (EVM Coordinator) will perform the following key tasks:

    • Strengthen the coordination mechanism to coordinate for implementation of effective vaccine management improvement plan activities.
    • Conduct regular coordination meetings (EVM/PMT++) with all the stakeholders on Immunization Supply Chain activities.
    • Continue providing technical assistance to Provincial EPI & District/UC teams for Effective Vaccine Management.
    • Develop/Update an Effective Vaccine Management Improvement Plan (EVM IP) and its progress on implementation through a tracker.
    • Ensure vaccine availability and quality at all levels of the supply chain.
    • Effectively coordinate with the government, vendor, and UNICEF (Provincial and Country Office) for deployment of Cold Chain Equipment under CCEOP and Non CCEOP.
    • Effectively coordinate with the government, vendor, and UNICEF (Provincial and Country Office) for Health Facilities Solar Electrification (HFSE).
    • Support capacity building of Immunization Supply Chain staff.
    • Monitor the implementation of EVM IP/CCEOP deployment and other ISD activities.
    • Support Supplementary Immunization Activities (SIAs).
    • Perform any other task assigned by the supervisor related to immunization/PHC strengthening.

    Language:

    • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of a local language (Urdu/Pashto) is an asset.

    Travel:

    • Willingness to travel to far-flung districts, especially Southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Newly Merged Districts.
