    Job Description

    Job Overview

    MicroMerger (Pvt.) Ltd, a leading consultancy firm, is seeking an HR Executive for its Islamabad office. The HR Executive will support the HR Manager in the efficient implementation of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with organizational policies and procedures. This role is crucial for ensuring that the HR operations align with the organization's strategic goals and comply with all relevant laws and regulations.


    Key Responsibilities

    Recruitment and Onboarding

    1. Assist in the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
    2. Ensure timely and effective onboarding of new employees, including conducting orientation sessions and preparing necessary documentation.
    3. Maintain a database of potential candidates and manage a reserve pool for surge hiring needs.

    Employee Relations

    1. Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries and issues.
    2. Support the HR Manager in addressing employee grievances and facilitating conflict resolution.
    3. Promote a positive work environment through regular engagement activities and morale-building initiatives.

    Performance Management

    1. Assist in the implementation of the performance appraisal system, including coordinating review meetings and tracking progress.
    2. Support the HR Manager in developing and implementing performance improvement plans.

    Compliance and Record Keeping

    1. Ensure compliance with HR policies, as well as local labor laws and regulations.
    2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including attendance, leave, and personnel files.
    3. Prepare and distribute salary slips and manage payroll administration in coordination with the finance department.

    Training and Development

    1. Coordinate training and development programs, including induction, refresher courses, and specific skill training.
    2. Maintain a training database and track the training progress of employees.

    Reporting and Documentation

    1. Prepare regular HR reports for the HR Manager and senior management, including recruitment status, employee turnover, and training effectiveness.
    2. Assist in the development and updating of HR policies and procedures.


    Qualifications

    1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably within the development sector or with an international organization.
    3. Strong understanding of HR principles, policies, and procedures.
    4. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
    5. Proficiency in MS Office and HR management software.
    6. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
    7. Fluency in English and Urdu is required; knowledge of an additional local language is an asset.
