    Job Description

    1- Job Purpose:

    An Associate Software Engineer with a specialization in PHP, will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining web applications, websites, and software solutions and will work as part of a dynamic development team to create high-quality, scalable, and efficient PHP-based applications that meet our clients' needs.

    2- Duties and Responsibilties:

    1. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient PHP code to develop web applications, websites, and software solutions.
    2. Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to integrate PHP code with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create responsive and user-friendly web interfaces.
    3. Design, develop, and maintain databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and write SQL queries to ensure data integrity and efficient data retrieval.
    4. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of PHP applications to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the highest quality of code.
    5. Create and maintain technical documentation, including code comments and user manuals, to facilitate collaboration and future maintenance.
    6.  Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage and track code changes and collaborate with team members effectively.
    7. Implement security best practices to protect PHP applications against common vulnerabilities and threats, such as SQL injection. 
    8. Identify and optimize code and database queries for improved performance and scalability.
    9. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, QA engineers, and project managers, to deliver projects on time and within scope.
    10. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in PHP development and apply best practices to projects.

    3- Essential Requirements:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
    2. Strong proficiency in PHP and web development technologies.
    3. Experience with PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) is a plus.
    4. Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their integration with PHP.
    5. Familiarity with databases and SQL.
    6. Basic understanding of web security best practices.
    7. Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
    8. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    9. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
